Cancellation Policy

Orders placed with SharkTools.co.uk may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team as soon as possible. We will make every reasonable effort to stop your order, although cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing or fulfilment has begun.

Please include your full name, order number and the product you wish to cancel so we can locate your order quickly.

Cancellations Before Dispatch

If your cancellation is successfully completed before your order has been dispatched, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Cancellations After Dispatch

If your order has already been dispatched, we may be unable to stop the delivery.

UK customers generally have the right to cancel most eligible online purchases within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable exceptions.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period. After notifying us, the goods must normally be returned within a further 14 days.

Condition of Returned Products

You may inspect a product as you reasonably would in a physical shop to establish its nature, characteristics and functionality.

Products should not be used beyond what is reasonably necessary for this inspection.

We may make a deduction from your refund where handling beyond what is reasonably necessary has reduced the value of the product, subject to applicable consumer law.

Where possible, please return the product with its original packaging, accessories, manuals and other included components.

Return Delivery Costs

Customers are normally responsible for the cost of returning products when cancelling because of a change of mind, provided this responsibility has been communicated as required by applicable law.

SharkTools.co.uk will cover reasonable return costs where a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, incorrectly supplied, or where we are otherwise required to do so by law.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Where required by applicable consumer law, an eligible cancellation refund will include the purchase price and the cost of our standard delivery option.

Additional amounts paid specifically for express, premium or upgraded delivery may not be refundable beyond the cost of standard delivery.

Where permitted by law, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

Cancellation Exceptions

Cancellation rights may not apply to certain products where an exception is permitted by law. Examples may include:

• Personalised or custom-made products

• Sealed products that are unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

• Other products specifically excluded from cancellation rights under applicable consumer law

Your statutory rights regarding faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are not affected by these exceptions.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including because of:

• Product unavailability

• Pricing or product-information errors

• Payment or authorisation problems

• Suspected fraud or unauthorised activity

• Incorrect customer or delivery information

• Circumstances preventing us from fulfilling the order

If we cancel an order after receiving payment, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
